The Book Project

Following the successful completion of the building of a hostel for girls in Ilongero it seems a natural progression to invest in the quality of education that these girls will receive now that they have a safe and complicit environment in which they can complete their studies. In combination with our efforts to rig up the school and the hostel to the towns electricity network we will be working to supply the school with over 1000 text books that will enable all the students there to participate in classes and learn, if necessary, independently of teachers which at the moment are a limited commodity in the region and Ilongero in particular.
